This is episode 13 of series 6. It has all of the previous characters: Madame Kovarian, River, Amy, Rory, Churchill, Dorian, the Silence, among others. "The Wedding of River Song" really delivers. Many questions are answered, but there is one that is finally asked in this episode. "When the question is asked, the Silence will fall." You won't find out the question until the very end (the last sentence of the episode). Alex Kinsington really shows her wide range of acting. River really loves the Doctor and it shows. This is a not-to-be-missed episode. Much of the season is re-capped in the beginning. So, if you have missed an episode during this series, you will be brought up-to-date. I am so glad I bought this, so I can watch it again and again.

Before I review Dr. Who, I want to give a plug to the people at Amazon. They should know that they are the best. They do a great job and the cloud services are fantastic. I will never buy media again. Amazon will always have it available for me to view online or to download. I can also watch episodes online using my Droid 2 using the built in web browser from Google.
Spoiler alert! This episode will leave you demanding more Doctor Who. Matt Smith has really grown into this role and he has been a fine successor to the Dr. Who tradition. Please BBC, give us more.
I love this episode because it keeps you guessing. Steven Moffat still has the touch, although I did prefer his earlier work especially the episode entitled "Don't Blink" which is my favorite Dr Who episode of them all. Still this one is quite good. The whole season and much earlier seasons with David Tenant leads up to this episode, and you get to find out a bit more about Dr Who and his sweetie, Melody Pond aka River Song.
So the Doctor and River do get hitched, but don't expect the traditional wedding bells. The wedding is ironically connected to his death, or is it? The show is great because it keeps you guessing and besides who doesn't love a romance entwined in an exciting story. The story does jump around a bit, but this is nothing new to fans if the Doctor.

It's been an amazing journey from "The Impossible Astronaut" to here, but well worth every minute of waiting for this answer to all questions saving ONE. The wit and imagination and pure creative mischief that went into the entire series was entirely eclipsed by THIS! ANOTHER MUST OWN EPISODE.
I've watched it five times in under 48 hours just to glean every possible detail, putting the puzzle all together. And it fits. And it is fitting that, even with all the delicious reveals, the Doctor hides just enough to keep us completely hooked and waiting with tingling anticipation for series 7 to commence.
BRAVO!
